Cindy Marvin is a seventh-generation resident of North Florida was the first National Merit Scholar from Palatka High School. Cindy obtained a B.A. with honors and her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida.
Cindy is passionate about equal access to the court system, and has worked with and advocated for Legal Services and the Public Defender’s Office. Cindy has a vast amount of litigation experience in civil and criminal law. Cindy tried approximately one hundred criminal cases ranging from misdemeanor trespass and DUIs to murder charges. Cindy also handles probate litigation, guardianships, and Elder Law matters.
Cindy is a member and secretary of Palatka Sunrise Rotary, an active Guardian ad Litem for children in dependency court, and the 2014-2015 counselor and foreign exchange officer for Palatka Sunrise Rotary’s exchange student from Spain.
Cindy is married to another Palatka native, Tony Marvin, and they have two sons.
