Elizabeth Schoonover joined Douglas & Hedstrom, P.A. in 2016. She brings with her to the firm 10 years of experience representing clients involved in civil litigation matters. Elizabeth received her B.A. with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. At the University of North Carolina, she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and was a member of the varsity rowing team. At the University of Florida, she served as a teaching assistant, and interned for the Hon. Anne C. Conway, U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida.
Elizabeth and her husband Brian reside in St. Augustine with their two daughters. She serves on the board of directors of the St. Augustine YMCA and volunteers with her family at the St. Francis House in St. Augustine.
She is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
