Alex Harden is a third-generation native of Jacksonville, Florida, with deep ties to the Northeast Florida community. After graduating from high school, Alex attended Florida State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a double major in Real Estate. He continued his education at Florida State University College of Law, graduating cum laude. During law school, Alex distinguished himself as a member of the Moot Court team and the Journal of Transnational Law & Policy.

Prior to joining Douglas Law Firm, Alex worked in the land use and government relations practice group of a Jacksonville-based law firm, where he advised clients on land use, zoning, and other government approval matters related to real estate development and construction.

Today, Alex serves as Senior Land Planner at Douglas Law Firm. He focuses his practice on land use, zoning, and other real estate government approvals, while also assisting the civil litigation team. He represents a diverse range of clients, including homeowners, developers, businesses, and local governments. Alex is an active member of NAIOP, the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA), and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). In his free time, he enjoys traveling and staying active through running and open-water swimming.
