Joseph C. Saviak is an attorney, senior executive, and highly regarded leadership and management consultant with decades of experience advising public, private, and nonprofit organizations.

As an attorney, Dr. Saviak provides counsel and representation on issues involving local governments among other areas of practice.  His legal background, which includes extensive experience in public administration and organizational performance, allows him to deliver practical, results-oriented advice grounded in both law and real-world operations.

He has taught leadership and management principles and practices to more than 1,500 executives, managers, and supervisors in classes across this region, and has addressed thousands of leaders and professionals at conferences in the United States and abroad. His work focuses on leading and managing change, optimizing organizational performance, and aligning strategy, structure, and culture to achieve measurable results.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master of Arts Degree both in Political Science from the University of Florida. He earned his Juris Doctor Degree from the Florida State University College of Law. He received his Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and his Ph.D. in Public Affairs from the University of Central Florida. Dr. Saviak has co-authored scholarly articles, a textbook, and applied research on public-private partnerships, transportation policy, and government contracting, including a guide for state and local officials.

He serves on the Boards of Directors for both the Flagler County and St. Johns County Bar Associations.

Through his legal practice and consulting, Dr. Saviak continues to advise organizations on leadership development, strategic planning, organizational assessment, and risk mitigation; helping leaders navigate complexity, improve performance, and deliver lasting public value.
