Jeremiah attended law school in Jacksonville, Florida, and graduated from the Florida Coastal School of Law. After passing the Florida Bar, Jeremiah continued his legal studies at the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, earning a Master of Law in Real Property Development. As a veteran, Jeremiah served as an Army officer for over 13 years, both on active duty and in the reserves.
Originally from South Carolina, Jason joined the SC Army National Guard as a military policeman directly out of high school. While in the Army, he served at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba as a prison guard at Camp Delta, and received multiple commendations . . .
Before joining Douglas Law Firm, Jacob was a partner in the North Florida Lawyers firm. While a partner, he handled a variety of case types. He continued to heavily practice in the area of criminal law where he handled cases from first-degree murder to Driving Under the Influence (DUI) . . .
Ms. Williams attended law school at Samford University, Cumberland School of Law, where she received the Scholar of Merit awards for Constitutional Law, Employment Law, and Civil Procedure. Ms. Williams moved to Florida in 2009 and after passing the Florida State Bar, she began to focus primarily on personal injury and family law, which are currently her sole practice areas.
John “JP” Steinmetz studied at Florida State University. While there, he earned a bachelor of science in interdisciplinary social sciences with a focus on both land use & zoning and emergency management, becoming a FEMA certified Emergency Manager through his studies. JP worked in the state legislature during his tenure at FSU, gaining knowledge in government processes and political advocacy.
After law school, Carol worked for the Office of the Attorney General in Tallahassee for over twenty-one years in the Child Support Enforcement Bureau and represented the Department of Revenue in court proceedings. Carol was ultimately promoted to the position of Senior Assistant Attorney General before moving to Palatka to work for the Douglas Law Firm, where her main practice areas are family law and administrative law.
Morgan attended law school as a Vicennial Scholar at Florida Coastal School of Law and obtained her Juris Doctorate degree. During school, Ms. Peacock served as the Research and Writing Editor of Florida Coastal Law Review, as a Pro-Bono Student Director, and as President of the Family Law Society, and President of the Women Law Students’ Association.
Cliff Baker joins the Douglas Law Firm team with more than forty years’ experience in the engineering and construction business as a lawyer, construction contractor, owner’s representative, professional engineer, and U.S. government contracting officer.
Cindy is a graduate of Palatka High School and the seventh generation of a Putnam County family. After graduating as Palatka’s first National Merit Scholar, Cindy attended St. Johns River Community College and obtained her B.A. with honors and her J.D. from the University of Florida. Cindy was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1979.

Larra Wallace proudly serves Douglas Law Firm as the Executive Project Manager, in which capacity she has the pleasure of planning and organizing events and special projects for the firm and the community. Larra brings 10 years of client service experience having worked for a national communications firm where she held managerial and training positions.
Amanda began her legal career in 2012 as a Circuit Court Clerk in Putnam County. She worked as a court clerk for 3 years before she moved to private practice as a paralegal. Amanda earned her associate degree in 2016 and then continued earning her bachelor’s degree in 2018.
Lyndsey (Corn) Wilkinson has been a lifelong resident of Putnam County. Lyndsey started her legal career at the age of 16 years old at the Putnam County Clerk of Court’s office and never looked back. With over 19 years’ experience, she gained a wealth of knowledge working in Civil Traffic, Criminal Traffic, Misdemeanor, and Felony. In 2014 Lyndsey briefly left the Clerk’s Office to work under a Circuit Court Judge as a Judicial Assistant handling the Family Law division, but then went back to her position in the Courtroom as a Court Clerk a year later. With the passion to grow and learn, Lyndsey decided to take on new challenges and pursue a Paralegal Career.
Genesis graduated from Palatka High School with Summa Cum Laude honors and went on to earn her Associate Degree at St. John’s River State College as a first-generation college graduate. Upon the completion of her Associate's Degree, Genesis obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in legal studies from the University of Central Florida.

Before joining Douglas Law Firm, Candi worked in dentistry for twenty-one years, with the last ten years as Operations Manager at a national organization of dental offices. Her work in the dentistry field helped create a client-centered mindset in all she does. Candi was ready to make a change and still have the ability to serve the community. She joined the Douglas Law Firm, where she now serves our clients and firm as a Personal Injury Medical Record Specialist.
Samantha attended college at Webber International University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Business Management and Event Planning. While working at the Courthouse, she realized her passion for legal studies and went back to college to pursue a paralegal degree from Florida Gulf Coast University.
Susanna Bridges was born and raised in Putnam County. After graduating high school, she spent 5 years in Houston, TX expanding her education. Once starting her family, she moved back home to Putnam County. She offers over 10 years of client service, accounting, and office management.
Tammy Vining is a familiar face to our community and has been a resident of Putnam County for over 40 years. Tammy began her legal career with the Putnam County Clerk’s office in 1986 where she served in the civil and criminal divisions for nine years. Jackie Mrachek grew up in Connecticut and moved to Florida with her Family in 1980. Jackie joined the Douglas Law Firm in April 2019 as a Legal Receptionist. Prior to joining the Douglas Law Firm, she worked for the Walser Law Firm in Boca Raton for 12 years as an Administrative Assistant. Jackie has been married to her husband Brian for the past 20 years and they have two children. Jackie enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with her family and friends.
