Wynn is a native of Gilchrist County and grew up on the Suwannee River near Bell, Florida. She previously served as an Assistant State Attorney in the Fifth Judicial Circuit for over a decade. During this time she successfully prosecuted thousands of criminal cases and secured convictions in dozens of jury trials, including serving as co-counsel in two murder trials.
Wynn is a proud third generation Florida State University graduate, and she obtained her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law. During her time in law school, she was honored with the Carol Samuel’s Unsung Student Leadership Award and the Victor O. Wehle Trial Advocacy Award.
In addition to her legal work, Wynn is actively involved in the legal community. She is a past president of both the Marion County Bar Association (MCBA) and the Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the MCBA. During her leadership of YLD she secured funding for a variety of community projects, and received the 2019 Affiliate Outreach Conference President’s Award for the organization. She has also served as the chair of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee 5B. She currently serves on the board of Community Legal Services and Scott Carrigan Baseball.
In her free time Wynn enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.
